Reflective service, with Lord's Supper
Maundy Thursday service
7.45pm
St Andrew the Great
An opportunity for us to pause amid the busy holiday weekend.
Join us on Maundy Thursday evening as we come together to reflect on Jesus’ sacrifice for us. The evening will include a special Passover demonstration, followed by time to celebrate the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of Jesus’ body and blood shed for us.
Please note: There will not be a creche or feeding room provision at this service.
GOOD FRIDAY
18th April
We meet on Good Friday as a church family for a special All-Age Service at St Andrew the Great. John Percival will be taking us through the story in Luke’s gospel of the thieves who met Jesus. All are welcome to join us as we are reminded of the life-changing difference meeting Jesus makes.
There will not be supervised creches for 0-3s during this service, but a room available with toys and audio relay, as well as a separate feeding room with video relay.
We’ll gather as a church family at All Saints Garden for readings, short talks and music on Good Friday afternoon. We have great news to share, and hope that many of those in our city who are passing by that day will drop in to discover what’s so good about Good Friday.
Download an e-invite and encourage friends to drop by.
EASTER SUNDAY GUEST SERVICES
20th April
Come and join us to celebrate together. All ages, stages and backgrounds welcome!
Graham Daniels will be speaking to us about the shocking news of Easter Sunday. Ever wondered why Christians think one man coming back from the dead is life-changing? This is the event for you!
There will be supervised creches for 0-3s, and groups for children aged 3-11 during this service.
All history pivots round the first Easter Day: it impacts every human life. That is the Bible’s provocative claim. But why does what happened then matter now, to me? Giles Walter will be taking us through Luke’s account of the true story of the resurrection. Whether you’re coming to the Easter story for the first, or hundredth time, join us as we travel back in time to investigate.
