Each year at StAG we have Gift Day, where as a church we give to support a particular cause or need. Over the years our members have given very generously, for which we praise God.
This year’s Gift Day is Sunday 22nd November. Our mission as a church is engraved on the walls of the stage in the church building, we are to "go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matt. 28:19). We earnestly desire to do this in Cambridge, and to enable others to do so elsewhere, so our Gift Day 2020 has both these missions in mind.
1. Jonnie Deja, leading a church plant in Northampton
Jonnie Deja, a former member of our church staff whom many will remember, is now in the process of planting a Bible-focussed, outwardlooking church in the rapidly growing but largely unchurched community of West Northampton, and he has reached out to us to partner with him in that mission.
2. Matthew Ministry
It is becoming increasingly necessary that we secure long-term, costeffective accommodation for our student workers, and to that end, the Matthew Ministry Trust has been set up to do so. The Trust is, like the Jesus Lane Trust, independent of the Church of England, which gives greater freedom for the future use of such a property, and is a more secure way to ensure it is used for gospel purposes.

How to give
If you would like to make a gift for Gift Day you can do so by the following two ways:
1) Making an electronic transfer to the church account (account number: 00010307, sort code: 40-52-40). Please make sure to reference this gift with 'Gift Day 2020'.
2) Giving by cash or by cheque (payable to St Andrew the Great Church) making sure to attach a note that it is for 'Gift Day 2020'.
If you pay tax in the UK, please make sure you have completed a Gift Aid Declaration (at stag.org/giving) – this will enable us to include Gift Aid in our donations. Do contact the church treasurer, Simon Wadsley if you have any questions about this.
