Small groups are at the centre of student life at St Andrew the Great. They provide a great way to get to know Jesus better, benefit from the experience of older Christians, and build deep and lasting friendships.
We meet on Tuesdays 7-9pm in the church building for 'Focus', where we eat together, listen to a talk, and then get into smaller groups. The small groups are led by older members of the church family and are a great way to grow as a Christian as we study the Bible, pray and encourage each other. Please see the church calendar
for details on when Focus is taking place, and see below for further information about what is being studied.
"I've been attending Focus throughout my first year here at Cambridge and I am really thankful for the experiences I've had so far. Every term we dissect and discuss a challenging book of the Bible, and the atmosphere of the small group allows me to voice any questions I have, and explore the passage more thoroughly than I would have been able to on my own. The small group is also a good opportunity to bring up and discuss different aspects of the Christian Faith on a deeper level with others who might have different perspectives on the same issue. All in all, it's a great way to explore what being a Christian really means to you, and get to know a whole lot of awesome people"
