Church can be a strange experience. We try to make our Sunday services as accessible as possible for anyone who’s a first-time visitor. But perhaps there are times when you want to stick a hand up and say “I don’t think so...” or even a simple “Uh?”
Maybe your questions are more fundamental. You look at your newspaper and wonder if anyone’s up there. There’s so much suffering in the world. You’re baffled as to why so many different religions exist. Don’t they all say the same thing? Or if they don’t, who’s right and who’s wrong? Is there any such thing as ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ anyway? How could we ever know? And why does it matter?
You’re not alone. That’s why we created a group called ‘Arena’ for people just like you. A place to ask all those questions and chew over some answers in the company of like-minded people who won’t assume anything, won’t get embarrassed by anything you say, and who’ll help you think these things through.
