The best way to get to know us at St Andrew the Great is to attend one of our services. We hope that all our services will be helpful to you, whether you are already following Jesus or just wanting to find out more about him.
Each service runs for about one hour and is informal in style. No prior knowledge is assumed, and you won't be required to say or pray anything that you do not believe. At the heart of each service is a reading and sermon from the Bible, and there is also a mixture of hymns and contemporary songs, prayers and news, baptisms and the sharing of the Lord's Supper.
Upcoming services are shown on the left or on the Easter 2010 Programme Card, available in PDF form.
Service times
10.00am (all year-round)
During this service we run supervised creches for 0-3s, and friendly small groups for children aged 3-11 and young people aged 11-14. From time to time, all ages stay together throughout the service.
11.30am (during university term only)
This service is followed by student lunch for undergraduates (free for first-timers!).
5.00pm (all year-round)
At the end of this service, groups meet for young people aged 14-18 and people in their 20s-30s. From time to time, there is also an opportunity to ask any of our preachers questions about recent sermons.
