Romania 2012
A team of students from St Andrew the Great are planning to go to Romania from 3-14 August 2012, led by Jonnie Deja. The majority of the time will be spent helping a local church (Metanoia Church, Ploiesti) to run an evangelistic summer activity camp for 50 teenagers from local schools. We are hoping to take 10-12 students, with a similar number from Metanoia.
Students on the team will give talks, run seminars and lead discussion groups, as well as helping to run the camp practically. There will be a particular focus on spending time getting to know individuals one-on-one and helping them understand more about Jesus.
This will be the second year of partnership between St Andrew the Great and Metanoia, after a successful trip in 2011. A number of Romanian members and leaders will be coming to the UK to get involved with a Summer Venture here in July before we go back to Romania in August.
