Students at St Andrew the Great often ask to meet up with an older Christian just as one-off. Maybe they have a question that’s been bugging them, or they need some advice, or they just want a helping hand. If you think that might be useful, then get in touch and we’ll fix you up with someone to meet up over coffee or a beer.
But many students also like to meet up with someone more regularly, perhaps each week, to read the Bible and pray together. It’s up to you quite how you might use that time, but it’s a great way to grow as a Christian.

121s are great. When I arrived at Catz the idea would never have occurred to me, which is why it’s so good that someone suggested it! I’ve found them a huge encouragement, getting close support from an older Christian, but also a great opportunity to discover more of God through his word. Last year we were looking at some of Luke; learning more of Jesus’ awesome character was a real privilege. The friendships made in these times tend to last and make for a real laugh!
