The international women's groups help us to discover Christianity and to grow as Christians. We aim to find out from the Bible what God intends for our lives, and to encourage one another to believe in Jesus and live with his strength.
iConnect
iConnect aims to help you and your friends adjust to life in the UK, and to give your friends who are not used to going to church a chance to meet Christians and find out about Christianity.
We start with creative activities for pre-school children, followed by a session for mums covering topics such as UK health and education systems, culture shock, parenting, cookery, what to do with children in Cambridge and the history of Cambridge University. We will also spend time thinking about the Christian view of some of these topics.
International women of all faiths (and none) are welcome. We meet on Tuesday mornings 10.00am-12.00pm in the church building, from 10 January to 27 March. The iConnect invitation card is available for download here.
International Women's Bible Study
This group is a great way to get to know Jesus better and to build close friendships with others Christians in the church family. We meet on Thursday mornings, 9.45-11.30am in a local home in West Cambridge, for social time and Bible study. Supervised childcare is available.
One of main reasons I go to the international women's group is to learn the Bible and to encourage one another to stand firm as Christ's body through prayer and sharing our lives. Another reason is the similarity of the ladies' cultural background which helps me understand better about myself . I can get unexpected great message from the Bible through a different perspective of ladies. And chatting, a cup of tea and a lunch with friends in this Bible study is one of source to make my energy level higher.
내가 인터내셔널 여성 성경공부 모임에 가는 주된 이유중 하나는 말씀을 배우는 것과 기도와 삶의 나눔을 통해 예수님의 지체로서 서로가 든든히 서 있을 수 있도록 격려하기 위함입니다. 또 다른 이유는 저 자신이 저 스스로의 삶을 더 잘 이해하도록 도와 주는 자매들의 문화적 유사성 때문입니다. 저는 이 모임에서 서로 다른 관점을 통해 기대하지 못했던 놀라운 말씀을 만나고 있습니다. 그리고 그 친구들과 함께 하는 점심과 차한잔, 사소한 이야기는 저의 에너지의 일부입니다.

I love to come to the international womens’ group, because I meet wonderful ladies from different parts of the world and feel sense of belonging and acceptance. We study God’s word together and encourage and support each other with its truth and prayers. Also we help each other in many other practical ways and always have fun fellowship.
